| This standard covers the requirements for a five-coat, liquid flooring system applied to a nominal thickness of ¼”. The five-coat system consists of a primer (MPI #208), an epoxy mortar (MPI #209), a grout coat (MPI #210) and a two applications of urethane topcoat (MPI #212). This system is appropriate for use in aircraft maintenance hangars, equipment maintenance shops and other industrial concrete floors where resistance to abrasion and fuel is required. The applied products must be provided by a single manufacturer. This system is not to be used for over-coating existing sound floor coatings. |
